Last Friday saw the return of the annual Old Columban Over-65s London lunch at Vasco and Piero's, and it did not disappoint! When each of us arrived, we were greeted by the owner and parent at SCC, Paul, who brought us to our table and offered us all a drink. We enjoyed some catching-up and nibbles whilst we waited for everyone to arrive.

Once we had sat down for lunch, OCs exchanged stories on their time at St Columba's, discussing which Brothers were at the school when they were there and reminiscing over their former legendary teacher, Jim Coughlan. The fond memories went hand in hand with the superb three-course meal. Dishes ranged from crispy goats cheese, to a ragu tagliatelle main and a classic tiramisu for dessert. 

Overall, it was a great afternoon and as always full of laughter and a common theme of fondness for St Columba's College. Thank you to everyone who came and to Paul for his generosity! We cannot wait to see everyone at the Afternoon Tea in June.
