We set off from Moor Mill in Frogmore on a sunny but coldish morning following some very rainy days. Proceeding along the riverside way in Drop Lane we walked beside the River Ver up to the confluence with the River Colne, and then up and over the fields and woods to Munden House and farm.

Passing over the River Colne we then walked up to Wall Hall area, circling towards Aldenham and then returning along the Colne Valley Walk route via the confluence again. It was a beautiful day with lovely autumnal colours but sadly the rain had left the fields quite muddy with a need to wash shoes off in the Ver at the stepping stones.

We then returned to Moor Mill to enjoy some well earned refreshments.
