Great Gaddesden Ramble

Seven ramblers turned up for the Great Gaddesden, Jockey end and Gaddesden Place ramble on Wednesday October 23rd, which was good given the poor, muddy terrain after weeks of rain. There were exceptionally nice views over the Chilterns on a dry, clear day but raised eyebrows came from ramblers when the only information given about the palatial houses en route was that "they were nice big houses". The walk finished with pub refreshments in Water End.
